Key Features
NiTO can help monitor all of the components of your infrastructure, from website response times, to details about every process running on a server. NiTO is not just one tool, but a variety of tightly integrated tools, built from the ground up to give you detailed insights with minimal setup.
Agentless monitoring is available for common Internet accessible protocols, such as HTTP(S), TCP, DNS, Ping (ICMP), etc., with the option to choose multiple locations around the world to check from.
Agents can be installed on systems inside your network, for deep performance and health metrics. Agents collect data every few seconds (not minutes) from the systems they’re installed on, with no noticeable overhead.
Peer devices can be checked by an agent against multiple neighboring SNMP-enabled hosts, such as switches/routers, power-supplies, etc. Likewise, an agent can perform other network-based checks, such as HTTP(S) and Ping (ICMP), from inside you network.
A RESTful API is available, and support for 3rd-party extensions, for custom metrics and alerting.
Some of NiTO’s core features include:
- Deep systems-monitoring for hundreds of metrics per agent, out-of-the-box.
- SNMP, HTTP(S)/ping, monitoring from any agent(s) inside your own network.
- Website HTTP(S)/ping/port monitoring over the Internet from multiple locations around the globe.
- Execute remote commands such as restarting services and rebooting servers/workstations.
- Schedule email, SMS and phone notifications per user, without dependence on 3rd-party services.
- Granular user permission controls let you grant specific user-access to specific items.
- Reports to assist in capacity planning, inventory control and much more…
