Agent version 20.3-1 released

NiTO agent version 20.3-1 is now available with a number of minor fixes and improvements. This update is focused primarily on reducing false-positive ‘Down’ alerts when the agent’s host machine is experiencing DNS-resolve issues.

But what happened to versions 10-19? Starting with today’s release, we’re changing the version naming convention to be based on the year, month and iteration of release, i.e., [year].[month]-[iteration]. In other words, today’s release is the first update within March, 2020.

As a SaaS monitoring platform, NiTO is regularly updated to add support for new technologies while maintaining extensive backwards compatibility -- this new date-based versioning scheme simply represents a value that is more relevant than with the traditional versioning scheme.

This update is not required, but it is recommended that you update any agents on machines that are prone to DNS resolution issues, under Device Config->Agent Management:
